NORTH SALT LAKE <! > - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Violet Helen Napier Penman went home to her Heavenly Father Friday March 30, 2001.

Violet was born Feb 12, 1931 in Salt lake City to Thomas and Hilda Johnson Napier. She married her teenage sweetheart, Terrance Penman March 6, 1947, sharing their lives and love over the past 54 years. She loved gardening, canning, bowling, and her bridge club. She was the Sports Director for Mutual always being part of her childrens' lives. Her greatest joy was Christmas, planning all year making it special for her family. She spent many years camping, fishing, and boating with her later years traveling to Europe, going on cruises and attending the opera.

She was the proud mother of Terry Lyn (Suzette) Penman, West Valley City, Christine Penman, Portland OR, and Connie (Steve) Redford, Taylorsville. She dearly loved eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchil-dren. She loved her brother and sisters, John I. (Kay) Napier, Jannett (Lyle) Bissell, Ruby (Dwain) Green. Preceded in death by her beautiful daughter, Lynda Lee Penman Butler; a son, Scott F. Penman, and a sister Lucille Knor.

Services will be Tues. April 3, 2001, 1 p.m. at the Orchard LDS 10th Ward chapel, 55 E. 350 N, North Salt Lake. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary 295 N. Main St, and at the church Tues. 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
