ST. GEORGE (AP) — A Zion National Park Lodge employee has pleaded guilty to two counts of forcible sexual abuse in a March 13 incident.

Jeffery Allen Vargo, 46, originally was charged with sodomy and forcible sexual abuse. He pleaded guilty Wednesday to the reduced charges, which are second-degree felonies, as part of a plea agreement.

Second-degree felonies are punishable by 1 to 15 years in prison and an $18,500 fine.
