The Utah Auto Collection, a local network of nine dealerships offering more than 3,500 vehicles, recently opened a 115,000-square-foot parts warehouse.
The building, which is 230 feet wide and 500 feet long, contains more than $3.5 million in inventory. It stocks more than 68,000 separate parts for a range of vehicles, including Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda, and services the states of Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.
The new warehouse has 70 employees, including six managers and six inventory control personnel. They handle 39,000 parts monthly.
