MEN'S TENNIS: In a match that saw two UNLV players default before play even began, the Cougars lost to No. 32 UNLV, 4-3, on Saturday at San Diego State University.
WOMEN'S TENNIS: The 36th-ranked Cougars won the doubles point to take a 4-3 victory over No. 60 UNLV on Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas.
TRACK: In one of the nation's premier track meets, BYU runners recorded three NCAA automatic qualifying times and five provisional marks in the distance events at the Stanford Invitational. The Cougar women's team automatically qualified one individual in the 10,000 meter run and had two runners meet the standard in the 5,000 meters.

SOFTBALL: The Utes continued Mountain West Conference play on the road with two wins over the Colorado State Rams. The Utes (21-15-1, 3-0-1 MWC) shut down CSU (3-26-0, 0-3-0 MWC) 6-2 and 11-7 on Sunday in Fort Collins, Colo.
MEN'S TENNIS: The Utes defeated Saint Mary's College, 5-2 on Sunday. The Utes had lost to UNLV and San Diego State earlier in the weekend.

> SOFTBALL: The Aggies fell to Long Beach State 6-1 Sunday at the LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field. The Aggies' 0-3 performance against LBSU on the weekend drops them to 5-23 on the year and 1-5 in the Big West conference.
