Geraldine June Luxton Pierce
Meyers, age 75, passed away April 1, 2001 at her home in West Valley City, Utah.
Born February 3, 1926 in Bay City, Michigan, daughter of Ernest and
Bernice Nenstedt Luxton; later adopted by Fae Neal Pierce. Married Don Leroy Meyers September 15, 1945 in San Angelo, Texas; marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, 1947. Active member of the LDS Church where she served as Relief Society and Primary president and in many other callings. During World War II she lived in many states including Alaska. Her love for music was reflected in her singing, organ and piano playing. She was a gourmet cook and painted beautiful scenery. She loved to crochet and had a great love for her grandchildren-Kathleen, Isaac, Destiny, Aaron, Nathan, Mishon, Shandice, Joram and was excited about her 1st great-granddaughter Emily.

Survived by husband, Don; daughters, Cheryl (Eric) McRae and Kathleen (Brad) Beal; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by son, Daniel Scott Meyers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Hunter 15th Ward, 5065 West Janette Avenue (4065 South). Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road and Thursday at the church,
10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
