Helen Dame Jensen passed away April 2, 2001.

Born 28 July 1914 in Meadow, Utah to J. Ezra Dame and Charlotte Bushnell Dame. She married Lamont Martin Jensen on 11 July 1944 in Logan LDS Temple. She loved helping other people and served in Primary and Relief Society presidencies in her ward. She served as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple. She was known to many young children in her neighborhood as "Mother Helen".

Preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Alton Dame and Orren Dame. Survived by children: Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Hunter, Alameda, CA; Larry D. Jensen, Garland, TX; Dean D. Jensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Don (Barbara) Wilkins, San Jose, CA; and Karl H. Jensen, Conover, WI; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother and sisters: Roland Dame and Mrs. Jack (Evelyn) Reed of Murray; Mrs. Vernon O. (Mae) Jones, Bountiful; Mrs. Paul (Verla) Pedersen of Ovid, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Imperial 1st Ward Chapel, 1560 East Atkin Avenue (2840 S). Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the church on Saturday 12:45-1:45 p.m., prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
