Tara Reid of "Josie and the Pussycats" and MTV host Carson Daly have postponed their summer wedding — not because they're breaking up, she said, but because she wants to make another movie first.
"I'm doing this movie called 'The Guest,' " Reid told TV Guide Online. The comedy co-stars Ashton Kutcher of the Fox sitcom "That '70s Show." David Zucker will direct. "So the good news is I got another movie. The bad news is that the wedding is not happening."
The 25-year-old actress said she was in the middle of planning the nuptials with Daly, 27, when she learned she'd gotten the role. The two have been together since March 2000 and got engaged in October.
"I had picked out the bridesmaids' dresses and the invitations, but we just canceled everything," she said.
No new date has been set for the wedding, in which Reid's "Josie" co-stars Rachael Leigh Cook and Rosario Dawson were to have been bridesmaids. The film, based on the Archie Comics characters and the 1970s TV cartoon, opens Wednesday.
