SOUTH JORDAN <! > -Joseph Clegg died June 28, 2001 peacefully in his sleep.
Born Dec. 3, 1910 to Walter Isaac Clegg and Evie Pulsipher at Cleveland, Emery County Utah. He was the sixth of 12 children.
He married Desma Michelle Crawford Dec. 28, 1942. They were sealed in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple Nov. 18, 1949. They are the parents of six children: Jay Wendell Stoker Clegg, Lyle Stoker Clegg, Shirley Stoker Clegg, Joseph Richard Clegg, David Walter Clegg, and Charles Dennis Clegg.
He has 38 grandchildren, 88 great- grandchildren and 10 great-great- grandchildren.
Dad was a carpenter. His hands were rough from never ceasing hard work, but his arms were strong and gentle. He possessed a calm gentle spirit. He had a great love for his wife and children and maintained great concern for them. His family will miss him very much.
The viewing will be on Friday June 29, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W., Riverton, Utah. The Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 2nd, at 11 a.m. at the South Jordan UT River Ridge Stake Center, 10191 So. 1000 W., South Jordan, Utah. Interment South Jordan Cemetery.
