Opponents of the Legacy Parkway asked a federal judge Monday to review the cost estimates state and federal officials have made for the road project.

The Sierra Club, Utahns for Better Transportation and Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson have all filed lawsuits to stop construction. They contend the Highway Administration and Corps of Engineers are violating federal air-quality standards and environmental laws that require any project that destroys wetland areas to be the least-damaging alternative.

Jenkins took the matter under advisement.
