A Salt Lake woman has been accused of taking money illegally from the Central City Western Boys' Baseball Association.

According to charges filed Tuesday in 3rd District Court, the woman was employed as WBBA's treasurer between March and August 2000.

During that time, the woman is accused of making withdrawals of $2,475 from WBBA accounts. She also is accused of failing to deposit $2,700 in concession revenues generated at WBBA events.

Records at Washington Federal Bank showed that during this time a woman transferred WBBA funds between accounts that weren't all WBBA accounts, charges state.

The woman was not a city employee. The WBBA is run by volunteers.

The 46-year-old woman was charged with unlawful dealing of property by a fiduciary, a second-degree felony.
