SHARE Obituary: Richard Wayne Johnson

Our beloved brother, Richard Wayne Johnson, father, grandfather,

uncle, and friend to everyone, pas-sed away on July 10, 2001.

He has returned to his Heavenly Fa-ther, and has joined his father, mother, and sister, Dorothy, who preceded him in death. Richard spent many years in ill health and we feel he is now at peace.

He was born on February 21, 1939 at LDS Hospital, the last of six children born to John

Ivan and Veva Andrea Hansen Johnson. Richard is an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he loved the Lord. He has always enjoyed people and animals. He liked to perform in plays, write poetry, watch TV, listen to talk radio, and tell a good joke. He served his country in both the Army, for two and one half years, and the Navy for five years.

Richard is survived by four brothers, Harold (Lucille) Johnson, Salt Lake City; Floyd (Verla) Johnson, Tremonton; Grant (Norma) Johnson, South Jordan; Keith (Verona) Johnson, Salt Lake City; sister, Louise (Bill) Johnson, Sandy;

daughter, Sherrie Ryder; two granddaughters, Amy and Abbey, all Mesa, Arizona.

We wish to thank everyone at Draper Care Center for taking such good care of Richard.
