Salt Lake residents who want new community centers, parks, better housing and revitalized neighborhoods are urged to attend a public hearing Tuesday evening, July 17.
Federal funding is available to improve the quality of life in cities, so the Salt Lake Community Development Advisory Committee is seeking input about what needs should be addressed in the coming year. Seniors, low- and moderate-income residents and people with disabilities are especially encouraged to join the discussion.
The hearing will start at 5:30 Tuesday in room 126, downstairs in the Salt Lake City-County Building, 451 S. State. Accessible parking and entrance are on the east side of the building next to the parking circle. For information call Salt Lake community development planner Greg Johnson at 535-7115.
