REXBURG, Idaho — Ricks College has a record 2,282 students attending its second five-week term of summer school. This is a 288-student increase from the 1,994 students who attended last year at the same time. There are 1,016 freshmen and 1,266 sophomores. The numbers reflect the college goal of better utilization of the campus resources year round to enable more students to attend.

Three academic calendar tracks and a Fast Track program are offered at Ricks College and will continue to be a part of the new BYU-Idaho. The calendar year will revolve around a three-semester system: fall, winter and summer.
