BAYTOWN, Texas (AP) — A minivan ferrying three generations of a family toward Georgia careened out of control and rolled into the San Jacinto River, killing four people as it sank.
The search for a fifth van occupant was to resume Monday. Two others, including a grandmother, were rescued after the one-vehicle rollover Sunday night.
A 36-year-old man and three children died in the crash between Houston and Baytown. Another 36-year-old man was still missing.
The van sank upside-down in about 24 feet of water.
