PRICE - <! > Don Martin Wood, age 74, passed away July 15, 2001 in Price. He was born Sept. 7, 1926 in Winter Quarters, Carbon County, Utah to Martin Curry and Beryl Biggs Wood. He married Shirley Berensen, Sept. 25, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the U.S. Army Infan-try in World War II where he was part of the occupation forces in Germany.

He has worked for Redd Motors, Wayne Motors, J.C. Penney and Better Buy and was a 33 year employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the American Legion.

Don is survived by his wife, Shirley B. Wood of Price; and children: Vickie (Gary) Robb of Springville, Indiana; Stephen (Tammy) Wood of Layton, Utah; David (Becky) Wood of Price; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Marilyn (Roy) Madsen of Provo. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Newel Wood.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2001 at 1 p.m. in the Price 8th Ward LDS Chapel located at 995 East 700 North in Price. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
