- Ray S. Lynch, 74, passed away Thursday July 18, 2001, in the presence of loving family members.
Born in Summer-field, Kansas Dec. 27, 1926 the son of Fred and Grace Burlingame Lynch. Married Betty Hildebrand, May 24, 1948 (deceased November 19, 1987). Married Helen Chugg Allen June 9, 1988, in Logan, Utah.
Ray was co-owner of Arbuckle Sheet Metal and is listed in the "Who's Who" of the American Sheet Metal Association. He had exceptional skills in all areas of construction. He was a Army veteran of World War II.
Ray was a member of the Bountiful 24th Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faithfully completed many church callings including serving as a Stake Missionary and fulfilling a service mission in Hawaii
He is survived by his wife, Helen; five sons and four daughters; James (Julie Ann) Lynch, Bruce (Jan) Allen, Russell (Lindy) Allen, Nathan (Denise) Allen, Cyndie K. (Mont) Ashworth, Tereisa (Charles) Bigo, Candis (Douglas) McMurdie, Thalene (Todd) Wilkes; 31 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Bill Lynch.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001 at the Bountiful 24th Ward Chapel, 720 E. 550 N. Friends may call Friday July 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Sat. 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services at the church.
