The Center for Women and Children in Crisis needs compassionate volunteers to answer hotline phone calls and to serve on the Rape Crisis Team.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and commit to four hours each week for a minimum of six months. Members of the Rape Crisis team accompany survivors of rape to the hospital, police station and courtroom. The next training is will be held July 10-28.

Volunteer with your pet. Utah Animal Assisted Therapy needs volunteers who are interested in maximizing the human-animal bond to bring comfort, love and hope to individuals in special circumstances. The owner and pet, known as "Pet Partners," are trained to work in care-giving facilities. Animals are required to be at least one year old.
Enhance the quality of life for the elderly. Orem Nursing and Rehabilitation invites groups of volunteers to brighten residents' lives by visiting or singing with them. The nursing home also need volunteer help each day at 10 a.m. to help women put on makeup and style their hair.
