WEST VALLEY CITY — A man wanted in Utah on four counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child was scheduled to make an initial appearance in federal court in Los Angeles Friday.

The man, 33, was charged Dec. 19, 2000, with molesting a 10-year-old girl several times over a three-year period, according to court documents. He has been missing ever since.

On Tuesday, an FBI task force received information the man was staying at an apartment in California. They found him at the apartment and arrested him following a short foot chase, said West Valley Police Lt. Charles Illsley.
