The man accused of killing his estranged wife by ramming her vehicle with his truck and stabbing her with a screwdriver in front of the Tooele County Courthouse has been released from the hospital.

Charles Miller, 50, attempted suicide while in his Tooele County jail cell Saturday by hanging himself with a bedsheet. The noose slipped, however, and Miller fell and hit his head.

Miller will now be held in the Salt Lake County Jail, which officials say is better suited for watching suicidal inmates.
