WOODLAND HILLS, UTAH- <! > Diane "Sue" Smith Miller Reberg, 69, formerly of Ogden, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at her home in Woodland Hills, of cancer.
She was born August 12, 1931 in Las Vegas, Nevada, a daughter of Florence Purdy Smith.
Sue married Fred A. Reberg Jr.
They were later divorced.
She was raised and educated in Ogden. She lived in many places throughout the world including Alaska, Texas, India and Germany, before returning to Ogden in 1970. She lived in Woodland Hills for the past five months.
She retired from McKay-Dee Hospital in 1996 where she had been a cook. Sue was active at the YCC, and she contributed generously to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Phillip Michael (Leslie) Reberg, Salt Lake City; Steven Mark (Maggie) Reberg, Chicago, IL.; Nancy (Michael) Bailey, Portland, OR.; Chris (Dorel) Kynaston, Woodland Hills, Utah; and four grandchildren, Amanda Budway, Jacob White, Katie Reberg and Grace Reberg. Sue is also survived by two brothers, Phillip H. Smith, Ogden; and Richard H. Smith, Suisun, Calif.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, Robert P. Smith, and one grandson, Aaron Reberg.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Cremation under the direction of Lindquist's Crematory. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
