A state legislator has been named to serve on the state Legislature's School Leadership Task Force.
Sen. Dave Steele, R-West Point, will join task force efforts to review research and information on school leadership and make recommendations to state legislatures nationwide. The task force will meet three or four times over the next year.
Steele oversees charter schools for the state Office of Education.
