Mall to honor Pearl survivors

SHARE Mall to honor Pearl survivors

The South Towne Center mall in Sandy invites patrons to honor the survivors and victims of Pearl Harbor when it hosts the exhibit "Raising the Flag to the Survivors," which will feature an exhibit of World War II memorabilia (photos and stories, etc.) as well as a mini-documentary on the making of the movie "Pearl Harbor."

The exhibit will open at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26, and will be accessible during normal mall hours through Sunday, July 29. The exhibit will be located in the mall's center court (on the lower level, near the JC Penney store).

There will also be a special flag-raising ceremony at noon on Thursday to honor several local Pearl Harbor survivors, which will precede the exhibit's opening.
