Waylon Charles Howard, 23, passed away July 22, 2001 doing what he loved most, hiking in the mountains and being in the outdoors.

Born July 10, 1978 in Salt Lake City, son of Calvin Lloyd and Sally Kimball Howard.

The most important thing to Waylon was his devotion to family. He had many friends who he considered family. He was an avid outdoors man; loving mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, and boarding. His greatest pleasure in life was helping any one, in any way he could. His favorite past time was sketching in his notepad. He was very big hearted and was sensitive to other people's needs. He is very loved and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, 2001, 2 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1700 East, where friends may visit Thursday evening

6-8pm and again on Friday, one hour prior to the service. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
