Two-time State Amateur champion Daniel Summerhays of Farmington, qualified for match play in the U.S. Junior Amateur in San Antonio, Texas.
Summerhays tied for 11th place in medal play with rounds of 73 and 68.
Three Utah golfers who failed to make the top 64 into match play were Layton's Barry Schenk (78-78), Salt Lake's Sterling Clark (78-80) and Ogden's Daniel Smith (80-79).
