TORONTO — Eric Lindros and Theo Fleury were among 34 players invited Tuesday by Team Canada to an Olympic mini-camp in preparation for the Salt Lake City Winter Games.

Lindros, who missed all of last season waiting for a trade from the Philadelphia Flyers, is not expected to make the team unless he's back playing in the NHL. For that to happen, he needs Flyers general manager Bob Clarke to move him.

"In a perfect world, I'd get traded tomorrow," Lindros said Monday night. "I'm still hopeful something will happen soon."

Fleury had 30 goals and 44 assists before entering a substance-abuse center after 62 games last season.

The mini-camp will be held Sept. 4-7 at Calgary's Father David Bauer Olympic Arena.
