Miriam Margetts Morris, our beloved mother, grandma, and our Dad's treasured wife, passed a-way peacefully

Friday July 27, 2001 after a brief illness.

Miriam was born on July 3, 1910 to Charles P. and Catherine Rigby Margetts in Salt Lake City, UT. She gradu-ated from LDS High School, LDS Business College, and worked for the Paris Dept. Store for many years. Miriam married Wayne Bitner Morris in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Feb 12, 1936. They were blessed to have 61 wonderful years together before Wayne passed away in 1997. Her life was one of love and service to her husband, three daughters, and ever-expanding family.

Surviving her are daughters, Karen (Dick) Pullan, Las Vegas, Kaye (Ward) Barnes, Judy (Joe) Mansuy, Salt Lake City; as well as 14 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren, all of whom knew their grandma, loved her and knew that she loved them and was interested in all they did.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as a Primary president, Relief Society president and many other callings. She was a wonderful example of performing each calling conscientiously and devotedly. We know that Mom is rejoicing as she is now reunited with her loving husband, parents, three brothers, and three sisters, who all meant so much to her and preceded her in death.

Services will be Tues. July 31, 2001, 12 noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary chapel, 3401 Highland Dr. Friends and family may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Mon. 6-8 p.m. and prior to the Tues. service 10:45-11:45 a.m. Entombment, Wasatch Lawn Mausoleum.

The family extends a special thanks to all in the Highland Care Center who have given Mom such loving care during her illness.
