Salt Lake City's first Olympic open house this Wednesday will cover a slew of concerns, from mail delivery to the torch relay, and from airport issues to volunteering for the city during the 2002 Winter Games.
The free public event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Salt Palace Convention Center, 100 S. West Temple.
City leaders, Salt Lake Organizing Committee planners and many other community groups will be on hand to answer questions about traffic, public safety and the Olympic Arts Festival, among other topics.
Salt Lakers are urged to take the bus or TRAX (schedule information at www.utabus.com), although parking is available free on the street or in the Salt Palace lot, 180 S. 200 West, for $5.
