Darlene Curtis Crowther, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away July 3, 2001, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatitis.
She was born May 4, 1946 to Merrill and Wanda Mary Denison Curtis in Aurora, Utah. Darlene married George W. Crowther on Feb. 3, 1968 in Aurora, Utah. They have two wonderful sons, Jeremy (Sally) and Ryan (Lisa). Her biggest joy came from her two grandchildren, Jackson and Britney. She was an avid golfer and loved to travel.
Survived by her husband, George; mother, Wanda Mary Curtis; sons and grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mary Louise Callister (Dale), Sandy, Utah; Nora Fae Cannell (Lawrence), Houston, TX; LaVon (Maryanne), Aurora, Utah; Wendel (Linda), Idaho Falls, Idaho; Kathleen Jenkins (Dan), Bedford, Wyoming; Ann Atwood (Dallas), Salina, Utah; Leland (Jacqueline), Aurora, Utah; sister-in-law, Roberta, Richfield, Utah.
Preceded in death by her father; brothers, Marvin and LaMar; sister, Joy.
The family wishes to thank all the 5th and 6th floor nurses and her doctors at the University of Utah Hospital for the special treatment and care they gave her and the family. Thanks to all her friends at the Greenwood Medical Center where she was employed.
Funeral services Saturday, July 7, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the West Jordan River Stake Center,
1380 West 6785 South. Friends may call at the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Aurora Cemetery, Aurora, Utah.
