INDIANAPOLIS — Market Square Arena, the Indiana Pacers' home for more than two decades and the site of Elvis Presley's final concert, will come down in 13 seconds Sunday.

Workers preparing for the implosion began blocking off streets Friday and draping large curtains over buildings.

More than 600 pounds of dynamite will be used to bring down the 15,000-ton building.

"All the charges have been loaded right on schedule," said David Dawson, spokesman for the city's Capital Improvement Board.

The arena closed in 1999.
