BRIGHAM CITY - Harvey Beck Langford, 66, passed away in Elko, Nevada doing what he loved, trucking en route to California.
Harvey was born May 30, 1935, a son of Anthony Walter Langford and Nora Beck in Spanish Fork, UT. He married Ann Aitken in 1954 and they were later divorced. On Dec 5, 1964, he married Arlene Stevens. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple.
Harvey was the owner/operator of Langford Trucking. He also served in the National Guard. Harvey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Elders Quorum presidency, as Sunday School superinten-dent, Young Men's president and was active in Scouting.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; five daughters, Barbara (Steve) Lan-ier, West Jordan, UT, Geneal (John) Little, Englewood, CO, Sandra Langford, West Valley City, UT, Lisa (Paul) Madsen, Honeyville, UT, GaeLyn (Shane) Miller, Idaho Falls, Idaho; two brothers and two sisters, Tony Langford, Glacier, MT, John Langford, Salt Lake City, UT, Janet (Kent) Harding, Salt Lake City, UT, Mary Lou (Robert) Orme, Las Vegas, NV; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tues. July 10, 2001, Honeyville Third Ward LDS Chapel, 2620 W. 6980 N. Friends may call Mon. July 9, 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E, Brigham City, UT and Tues. 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the church. Interment, Aurora, UT.
