BOUNTIFUL, UT - Ray O'Brien Jeppsen, beloved husband, father, grand-father, brother and friend passed away July 7, 2001 of respiratory failure.

He was born July 11, 1926 to Ray Golden and Luella Nelson Jeppsen in Brigham City, UT.

Ray was raised in Mantua. As a Landscape Architect for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 40 years he left the earth a more beautiful place for all to enjoy. His last major project being the Bountiful Temple. He served a mission for that church as a young man in the Central Atlantic States after serving in the Air Force during World War II. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, the outdoors and mostly being with his family.

In Nov 1951 he married Barbara Nelson in the Logan LDS Temple. They have four beloved children who with their families will be together in eternity. Brenda (Gerry), Stan (Colette), Jerolyn (Todd), LuAnn (Glen); 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Diane, Joyce, Linda.

Services will be Tues. July 10, 2001, 11 a.m., Bountiful 16th Ward Chapel, 720 E. 500 N. Friends and family may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E, and Tues. 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the Bountiful 16th Ward Chapel. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
