SALT LAKE CITY - Charles Lee Querry, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away at his home July 7, 2001, from cancer.

Born July 10, 1928 in Salt Lake City, UT to John N. and Neva M. Flanders Querry. Served a mission for the LDS church in New Zealand. Married his high school sweetheart, Jean Clarke, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Aug 17, 1951. Faithfully served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years of service. Devoted his life to family, friends and church service. His greatest source of joy was his wife, children and their families. Active member of the church having served as a bishop and numerous other stake and ward positions. The family expresses special thanks to friends and care givers during his time of illness. He will be missed for his sense of humor as well as his constant love and support.

Survived by wife, Jean; sons, Charles Malin (Pam), Clayton, Brad (Mau-reen); daughter, Connie (Sam) Baldwin; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Jack; and sister, Jane. Preceded in death by parents.

Friends and family may call Mon. 9 July, 2001, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd, and 10 July, 2001, 9-10 a.m. at the Central Park Ward Chapel, 2700 S. 300 E. Services, 10 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Dad suggested donations be made to the General Missionary Fund of the LDS Church.
