AMERICAN FORK — The Bank of American Fork is now The Bank of American Fork in Draper, and shortly it will be The Bank of American Fork in Sandy.

With assets of $360 million, the bank, which is a subsidiary of People's Utah Bancorp, is the third largest community bank in the state. It was established in 1913 and until a few years ago was only onein the north Utah County community.

In recent years, the business has expanded into Alpine, Highland, Lehi, Orem, Pleasant Grove and Spanish Fork.

On July 2, a full-service branch opened in Draper. It is the first outlet in Salt Lake County.

This fall officers expect the new Sandy branch will be operating at 855 E. 9400 South, formerly the Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Bank office.

"We already have many customers here," said Dale O. Gunther, president and CEO. "We look forward to serving them more conveniently with this new office."
