NEW YORK — Washington Mystics forward Chamique Holdsclaw will go to the WNBA All-Star Game as the top vote-getter.

Holdsclaw got 105,006 votes in fan balloting, and will lead the Eastern Conference team as a starter for the third year in a row. The game is scheduled July 16 in Orlando, Fla.

She will be joined in the starting lineup by Washington teammate Nikki McCray, second in voting among East guards with 57,280. The top vote-getter at that position was New York's Teresa Weatherspoon, who received 75,349.

Also starting will be Weatherspoon's Liberty teammates, Tari Phillips and Vickie Johnson. Center Phillips got 63,149 votes, and forward Johnson received 45,769.

Forward Tina Thompson of the Houston Comets was the leading vote-getter for the Western Conference with 93,901, and will be joined in the starting lineup by teammate Janeth Arcain, a guard who got 70,107.

Reserves for the game, to be chosen by the league's eight head coaches, will be announced Wednesday.

New York's Richie Adubato will coach the East, and Houston's Van Chancellor the West.
