Two Brigham City men crash-landed their two-seater airplane Sunday in a field near the town of Corinne, escaping injury or major damage to the plane.
By the time emergency personnel arrived on the scene, the men had walked half a mile to the Wal-Mart distribution center and called for a ride home.
Sheriff D. Leon Jensen said the pasture the men landed in probably acted as a shock absorber, and the only damage to the plane he knew of was one broken wheel.
"Those are two lucky fellows," said Jensen. "Not a lot of people survive one of those."
