ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) — Three teenage backpackers who had been missing since late Tuesday were found in good condition Friday by park rangers.

The 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds were spotted by a helicopter crew in the rugged northeast corner of the park, and rangers reached them on foot, park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson said.

The teens were on an Outward Bound mountaineering course when they were separated from their instructor and another teen. They had wandered six miles from where they were last seen.
