The Logan Grizzlies continued defense of their 4A championship with a 29-9 trouncing of the Orem Tigers on Friday.

Ryan Bohm had scoring runs of 59 and 21 yards to lead the way. He also threw a 16-yard touchdown pass.

JUDGE 14, OGDEN 0: The Bulldogs defense held the Tigers to 100 yards and had three sacks and three interceptions. Matt Stahl rushed for two touchdowns and 104 yards.

EMERY 41, CANYON VIEW 0: Emery junior Seth Powell got to the end zone twice, the Spartans gained 300 yards rushing.

BINGHAM 24, COTTONWOOD 7:Jake Naylor rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns, and Tyler DeBry had 56 yards rushing as the Miners improved to 2-0.

CLEARFIELD 58, SPRINGVILLE 6: The Falcons opened the season with an impressive win.

WEST 40, COPPER HILLS 14:Ryan Webster kicked a pair of 49-yard field goals, and Steve Vaenuku ran for two TDs and over 100 yards in the win for West.

TOOELE 37, WASATCH 25:Kyle Pratt threw for 327 yards and three touchdowns as the Buffaloes stung the Wasps. Luke Weishar carried the ball 34 times for 284 yards for Wasatch in a losing effort.

BRIGHTON 34, DAVIS 13: Bengal Brady Maxfield ran for two touchdowns as Brighton picked up 187 yards on the ground.

UINTAH 17, CARBON 13: Matt Pierce intercepted a Carbon pass with about a minute left in the game to seal the win.

HUNTER 24, JORDAN 14: The Wolverines took control in the third quarter to bounce back from last week's loss. Sione Niu rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown.

BOUNTIFUL 38, TIMPANOGOS 19: Tui Auva'a scored on runs of 27 and 6 yards, returned a kickoff 97 yards and added a 60-yard TD bomb from Bountiful QB Steve Matheson, who had a pair of scoring passes. Timpanogos' Jared Harper scored on throws of 29 and 11 yards and added a 1-yard TD plunge.

HILLCREST 53, KEARNS 0: Huskie quarterback Brad Leggat went 9-10 for 211 yards in Hillcrest's rout of Kearns. Teammate Justin Anderson had two sacks and caused two fumbles in the Huskies' defensive effort.

LEHI 19, UNION 7:Rylee Worthen threw two touchdown passes and ran for one, as the Pioneers beat the Cougars. Tyson Chamberlain rushed for 116 yards.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 24, SPANISH FORK 12:Craig Fitch had 16 carries for 91 yards to lead the Bruins to victory over Spanish Fork.

NORTH SANPETE 7, PINE VIEW 6:Jake Foote ran for 141 yards on 22 carries for Pine View.

HURRICANE 28, JUAB 14:Adam Pugh rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns to lead Hurricane to victory.

MILLARD 47, CEDAR 7:McKinley Smith rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns and Mike Monsen added two more as the Eagles roughed up 3A Cedar. Phillip Tuttle added 114 yards and a scored for the 2A No. 1 Eagles.

TAYLORSVILLE 28, RIVERTON 21: In the loss, Matt Edwards rushed for 117 yards and passed for 98 yards before dislocating his shoulder in the third quarter. Brian Budd had two TD catches for Riverton.

LONE PEAK 21, DELTA 12: Lone Peak forced Delta into six turnovers. Justin Dahl caught a touchdown pass and scored again on a short run with less than a minute left in the game to get the win for Lone Peak.

BEN LOMOND 28, ROY 27 (2OT):Nick Puente caught a nine-yard touchdown pass in overtime and Justin Amos added the extra point as the Scots beat Roy in OT. Sophomore Steve Wilson threw a pair of TDs for the Scots. Skyler Kelley had two TDs for Roy.

GUNNISON 19, NORTH SEVIER 6: Gunnison had 302 yards total offense in their win over North Sevier.

BOX ELDER 42, PLEASANT GROVE 0:Colt Mund had 12 carries for 119 and three touchdowns for the Bees.

PARK CITY 17, MORGAN 14:Brandon Rogers rushed for 156 yards and one touchdown to lead the Miners to victory.

MONTICELLO 41, GRAND 25: Monticello used a late-game rally to take the lead for good in a humbling defeat over Grand.

VIRGIN VALLEY, NEV., 33, BEAVER 16:Matt Albrecht rushed for a 71-yard touchdown but the Beavers fell in Nevada.

RICH 19, SOUTH SUMMIT 0:Marcus Johnson ran for 130 yards and threw for one touchdown for Rich. South Summit managed only 59 yards of total offense.

AMERICAN FORK 28, HIGHLAND 21: American Fork used a late rally to overcome an early Highland lead.

SNOW CANYON 42, PAYSON 20:Matt Lovelady led Snow Canyon to victory over Payson by throwing four touchdown passes.

MILFORD 16, DUCHESNE 0:Curtis Craw led the Milford defense with 12 tackles and a sack. He had one tackle for a sack.

MOAPA VALLEY, NEV., 14, KANAB 0: Kelly Brown and Andy McFadden had good defensive games but the Cowboys were held scoreless.
