Dona Hales Pfaff passed away August 24, 2001 at the age of 91.

Born Sept. 1, 1909 in Spanish Fork, Utah, the eleventh child of Alma Charles Hales and Sus-hannah Hodgson Hales.

Married John Pfaff June 5, 1938. Preceded in death by husband, mother, father, five brothers and five sisters. Survivors: nieces and nephews.

Dona taught school for many years in Nebo District, Jordan District and Granite District in the elementary schools. She served two years as Supervisor to elementary teachers in administrative work, 10 years in Special Education with Learning Disability students, partially sighted and hearing-impaired. After retirement she worked with Widowed Persons with Marie Gooderham in the Y.W.C.A.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Received temple ordinances Sept. 7, 1994.

Services will be held Monday, August 27, 2001, 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment Spanish Fork Cemetery.
