LOGAN — The Utah State women's soccer team opened the season with a 7-0 blowout against Southern Utah in an exhibition game Saturday at Tower Field.

Five different Aggies scored, including junior Michelle Eversman and sophomore Amber Tracy, who each turned in two goals apiece.

The shutout loss came a day after SUU notched a shutout victory in its first-ever game. The T-Birds blanked Mesa State 1-0 in an exhibition match Friday in Cedar City. Freshman Lindsey Boyer scored SUU's lone goal.
