Within the next six to nine months, the increased bus service between Ogden and Salt Lake City on routes 72 and 73 could result in more than 30,000 new passenger trips annually. The routes have experienced frequent overcrowding in recent months, and the UTA board approved additional trips to make more seats available and increase customer options during peak commuter hours.
