EAST CARBON-<! > Phyllis Oveson Thomas, 81, passed away August 24, 2001 in Bountiful.
She was born May 31, 1920 in Cleveland, Utah to Neils Christian and Rosebell Hud-son Oveson. Mar-ried Steve Tho-mas, September 17, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died March 15, 1989. Phyllis was a longtime resident of East Carbon.
She is survived by her daughter Colleen Rasmussen, Bountiful; grandsons Nathan Rasmussen, Christian Rasmussen; five great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters and she was the last leaf on the tree.
Graveside service, Tuesday, August 28, 2001, 11 a.m., Price City Cemetery. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price one-half hour prior to services. Friends are welcome at Mitchell's daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
