KUED-Channel 7 announced the following staff additions: Brooke Cochrane joined the station's development department as manager of the major gifts program; Jacqui Voland was named community outreach coordinator; Penni Rae Zito was hired as special events coordinator; and Joey Marquart joined KUED's creative services department as programming publicist.

Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough announced two additions to the Salt Lake-based law firm. L. John Lewis will concentrate his practice in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, corporate transactions, real estate contract review, stock exchanges and corporate law. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Law School. Howard C. Young, a University of Utah Law School graduate, will focus his practice on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, corporate finance and international and domestic commercial contracting.

W. David Voss has joined the Freedom Center for Advanced Medicine in Provo. Voss received his doctor of osteopathy degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University and has a special interest in natural solutions to health challenges including thyroid, fibromyalgia, arthritis and chronic fatigue.

FJCandN, a Salt Lake-based advertising and public relations firm, announced four staff additions. Russ Olsen was hired as a producer. Ryan Hamilton joined the firm as a public relations account coordinator. Jennie Hemmert was hired as a designer. Shannon Daniels was named assistant media planner.

Rick W. Winward has joined the Springville Eye Clinic and Eye Clinic at Village Green. Winward is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the University of Houston College of Optometry. In addition to providing eye exams, Winward is trained in ocular pathology and contact lenses.

Wells Fargo has appointed Patricia A. Richards as national director of endowment and foundation markets for the bank's institutional trust and custody group. Richards, a Northwestern University graduate, will be responsible for strategy, product development and marketing support for Wells Fargo's trust services to non-profit organizations.

The Utah Bone & Joint Center announced two staff additions. Allen R. Groebs completed his medical degree at the U. with an orthopaedic residency at Ohio State University. He has special training in hand and upper extremity surgery, including congenital and microvascular hand surgery and general orthopaedic care. Lyle Mason is a graduate of BYU and Tulane Medical School and will focus his practice on sports medicine for professional athletes.

Cricket Communications has named its supervisors for five of its Wasatch Front locations. Chris Britton was promoted to supervisor for the Sandy location. Steve Crawford was hired as supervisor for the West Valley City location. Jeff Hoster was named supervisor for the Layton location. Kim Neilsen was hired as supervisor for Cricket's newest location in Sugar House. John Willardson was promoted to supervisor of the Provo location.

Anne Brillinger was named director of the Office of Public Affairs for the U. Health Sciences Center. Brillinger, who joined the center's staff in 1978, will lead promotion and news efforts for the facility.

Nu Skin announced the promotion of three division management executives. Elizabeth Thibaudeau was named senior director of product marketing. Kara Schneck was promoted to senior director of global marketing communications. Kevin Motto was named director of marketing logistics. Nu Skin is a division of Provo-based Nu Skin Enterprises.

Jone L. Koford has been named a division president of LifePoint Hospitals Inc., a Tennessee-based hospital network. Koford, a Utah native and Weber State University graduate, will oversee operations of seven hospitals nationwide, including the Castleview Hospital in Price and the Ashley Valley Medical Center in Vernal. LifePoint operates 21 hospitals in non-urban areas and employs more than 6,000 workers.

Thomas Petersen Hammond Architects announced it has added three new associates to the firm. Mark de Bry has more than 30 years of architectural design experience and specializes in designing medical facilities. Andrew C. Tongish specializes in the design and management of educational and religious facilities. Kenner B. Kingston has been with the firm for five years. He also serves as an adjunct architectural instructor at the U. and Salt Lake Community College.

Amembal Capital Corp., a Salt Lake-based diversified equipment finance company, announced that Fred Prescott has been promoted to manager of ACC Corporate Advisory Group. Prescott has been with the company for five years and is a graduate of Boston College.

Kitchell Contractors has hired Mark Mossing as senior estimator for its Salt Lake operations. Mossing has more than 25 years of commercial construction experience and received a degree in construction management from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.

Beverly Schrab has joined the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce as an account executive. Schrab is a graduate of WSU, the U. and the University of Phoenix. She also is the founder and organizer of Sistahs in Spirit, a women's networking organization. The SLACC was established in 1902, and includes 2,000 member firms.
