Our beloved father and grandfather, Hans Weeding Bolstad, passed away August 24, 2001 in Salt Lake City.

He was born Aug 17, 1920 in Firth, ID to Arne and Ingeborg Weeding Bolstad. Hans married Lillian LaJune Croft Jan 9, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LaJune passed away Feb 13, 1995.

Hans worked in retail sales at Montgomery Ward until they closed, then worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

He was an active member of the LDS Church, in which he served in many positions, his favorite as Sunday School president. He served a mission for the Church in the Western States Mission. Hans loved to work in the church and do the Family History and temple work for his ancestors from Norway. He loved to travel. He also loved to do bookkeeping and gardening. But more than anything, Hans loved his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Gayla Anne (Kenneth) Bell; son, Paul Croft Bolstad; grandson, Robert Kenneth Bell; aunts and cousins. Hans was preceded in death by his wife, LaJune; daughter, Karen LaJune; parents; and two sisters, Christina and Anna Bolstad.

We love him dearly and will miss him very much.

Services will be Wed. Aug 29, 2001, 12 noon, Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. and Wed. one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
