Occupancy rates for Salt Lake hotel rooms showed small increases during the first seven months of the year, according to a report by the Rocky Mountain Lodging Association.
On average, approximately 66 percent of Salt Lake area hotel rooms were filled from January through July, compared with 64 percent during the same period last year.
Across Utah, 68 percent of total room nights available were occupied in July.
Cedar City reported the highest occupancy rate for the month at 81 percent. St. George had the lowest rate at 55 percent.
