OFFENSE: The Cougars overcame a listless opening quarter to score 41 points in the second and third quarters. Quarterback Brandon Doman threw for three touchdowns and rushed for three more, while the offensive line did not yield a sack. GRADE: B+

DEFENSE: The 'D' made a huge impact by forcing three key turnovers, which the offense turned into points. The Cougars registered five quarterbacks sacks, including two apiece by Isaac Kelley and Ryan Denney. GRADE: A

SPECIAL TEAMS: Ned Stearns' 26-yard gain on a fake punt sparked the Cougars at a time when the offense was struggling. Punter Aaron Edmonds averaged 49.5 yards per punt, including a 53-yarder when BYU was backed up deep in its own territory. GRADE: B+
