Our beautiful beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully September 8, 2001 surrounded by her daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and family. She left us with her never ending unconditional love.

Alice was born Jan 3, 1909 in Castle Gate, UT. She was the eldest child of Robert and Ellen (Aldred) Pulsipher. Survived by one sister, Lillian St. John, WVC, their bond was very special. Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Bill, and two sisters, Edna and Mae.

Alice married John Stanley Rowe, deceased. From this union her daughter

arrived. Helen married William Zoumadakis, deceased. They gave her four grandchildren, Kathryn (Chris) Floor, Wendy (Stephen) Wright, George, Melany Zoumadakis; and10 great-grandchildren who called her "G.G."

Alice later married Oscar Pehrson Dec 24, 1935. He passed away Aug 29, 1972. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. From this union her son Gordon Pehrson arrived.

He married Ruth Ann Bunderson. They gave her a grandson, Scott (Liza) Pehrson; and two great-grandchildren.

Mother spent her life giving service to her family. Her family was her life. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Relief Society Presidency in her ward in East Carbon, UT as well as a visiting teacher supervisor and visiting teacher in the Imperial 1st Ward in Salt Lake City until her health deteriorated. Mother was a Charter Member of the Salt Lake Canyon Trails Company of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Her example of courage and never ending love leaves us all with a great heritage to live up to.

Services will be Wed. Sept 12, 2001, 11 a.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E, SLC, UT, where friends may call Wed. one hour prior to the service. Interment: Price City Cemetery, 595 E. 400 N. A short graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m.
