RICHFIELD, Ut<! > . - Dora Marie Noyes Cook, our kind and beloved aunt and friend, age 97, of Richfield, died Sept. 9, 2001 in Ogden, Utah.
She was born Feb. 16, 1904 in Torrey, Utah, the third of six children born to Fred W. and Monettie "Nettie" Behunin Noyes. She married LaVar Ira Cook, March 11, 1930 in Torrey. Together they were farmers in Wayne County and herded sheep at Fish Lake.
They enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting and being together in nature.
Dora enjoyed hand work like sewing, crocheting, knitting and embroidering. LaVar died January 12, 1989.
Dora is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her five siblings: Mandy Nelson; Albert Noyes;
Elva N. Bliss; Ruby N. Tippits and Ernest Noyes.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday,
September 12, 2001 at 1 p.m. in the Torrey Cemetery.
Friends may call for viewing at the Torrey LDS Ward Chapel on Wednesday from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Torrey Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
