U.S. Forest Service officials are seeking information regarding the human-caused fire that was intentionally set above the Whiskey Springs Picnic Area on Aug. 31.
Up to $2,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals who started the fire. The fire burned 2 1/2 acres at the popular day-use area in Daniels Canyon before being extinguished.
