SHARE Northridge blows out Layton 42—16

LAYTON — The Northridge Knights stayed unbeaten with an easy 42-16 win Friday night over nearby Layton.

Daniel Coates caught a pair of 14-yard touchdown passes and Spencer Bailey rushed for two touchdowns.

Bailey, along with Marcus Lolofie and Blake Bastian, rushed for a combined 250 yards.

VIEWMONT 24, DAVIS 20: Down three with under three minutes, Viewmont needed just 50 seconds to score the winning touchdown.

CLEARFIELD 45, WEBER 7:Carter Vaughn earned 128 yards on nine carries and had three touchdowns in the Falcons win over Weber.


GRANGER 19, COTTONWOOD 6:David Langi rushed for an eight-yard touchdown to lead the Lancers over the Colts.

SKYLINE 42, KEARNS 0: Junior Rory Duckworth gained 77 yards for the Eagles and Adam Shaw racked up 109 yards on just six carries.


LOGAN 34, BONNEVILLE 7:Ryan Baum ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more in the win for Logan.

ROY 21, SKY VIEW 20 (OT):Skyler Kelley rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Royals to an overtime win. Teammate Jared Barnes had three interceptions, the last of which led to the touchdown that tied the game with two minutes left in the game. Roy stopped Sky View's two-point conversion attempt on the game's final play.

MOUNTAIN CREST 35, BOX ELDER 10: Mountain Crest used a huge second half to blow out Region 4 foe Box Elder. Ryan Zimmerman ran for touchdown and threw for two more as the Mustangs improved to 1-0 in region play.


EAST 33, MURRAY 15: The Leopards scored on offense, special teams and defense in their win over the Spartans. Sophomore Inoke Hafoka ran for two touchdowns, while teammate Joey Middleton had a solid night throwing that included a touchdown.

WOODS CROSS 39, WEST 10: Woods Cross' Bobby Sundara mowed down the West defense for 149 rushing yards to lead the Wildcats to victory.

OLYMPUS 33, HIGHLAND 7: Titan Casey Evans found the endzone four times for Olympus.


SPRINGVILLE 42, PAYSON 0:Eric Bills had two touchdown runs and threw for two more to give the Red Devils their first victory.

AMERICAN FORK 42, SPANISH FORK 27:J.D. Beck scored three touchdowns to lead American Fork over Spanish Fork.


PLEASANT GROVE 12, MOUNTAIN VIEW 7: Mountain View made it to the one yard line in the final minutes, but failed to score on four tries.


EMERY 28, CARBON 26: Carbon fumbled the ball with three minutes left in the game, giving Emery its winning touchdown drive.

DELTA 14, LEHI 10: Delta used a tremendous defensive performance to keep Lehi out of the endzone in a hard fought victory.


PINE VIEW 29, HURRICANE 27: Hurricane committed five turnovers and Pine View kicker Richard Fitzgerald connected on three field goals for the win.

SNOW CANYON 36, DIXIE 13:Clint Graff scored two touchdowns in a big win for Snow Canyon.


PARK CITY 40, JUDGE MEMORIAL 12:Brandon Rogers rushed for three touchdowns and 93 yards as the Miners blasted the Bulldogs. Park City outgained Judge 425-174.

WASATCH 41, GRANITE 6: Wasatch had a very balanced attack in a huge victory over Granite. Tyree Christensen racked up 134 yards receiving, Luke Weishar had 111 yards rushing and Kurt McEwen added 223 yards passing and three touchdowns for the Wasps.


GRANTSVILLE 14, OGDEN 0:Paul Clark rushed for 114 yards and the only two scores of the game while Kirk Cummings had four interceptions in the Cowboys victory over Ogden.

TOOELE 54, BEN LOMOND 0: Sophomore Griffin Sorenson caught two touchdown passes as the Buffaloes smashed the Scots. Tooele's defense forced two interceptions and two fumbles.

MORGAN 21, BEAR RIVER 20: The Trojans stopped a two-point conversion attempt by the Bears in the final seconds to prevail. Lance Johnson had two touchdown runs and McKay Bybee returned a kickoff for a touchdown.


FREMONT 43, TIMPANOGOS 3: Fremont nabbed five interceptions in a dominating performance over Timpanogos.

JUAB 7, RICHFIELD 0: Juab overcame a sloppy performance to salvage a homecoming game victory.

PAROWAN 21, ALTAMONT 20:Dave Stevens ran in the go-ahead score for Parowan, the came up with a late interception to ensure the win.

ENTERPRISE 46, MILFORD 6:McKay Jones went 7-10, earned 211 yards and scored three touchdowns as Enterprise routed Milford.

FRUTA, CO 22, NORTH SANPETE 13: Fruta came into this game ranked No. 5 in the Denver 4A standings. Andy Coren had 184 yards rushing and three touchdowns for the victorious squad from Colorado.

RICH 27, DUCHESNE 6: The Rebels had 351 total offensive yards in their easy victory over Region 1 rival Duchesne.

MONTICELLO 62, MONUMENT VALLEY 14:Quin Dowell had a 75 yard kick off return and two touchdowns, while teammate Clint Adams earned 114 yards passing and two touchdowns in Monticello's victory Friday.


MANTI 19, NORTH SUMMIT 3: Manti back Curren Christensen picked up 275 yards and a touchdown on just 15 carries.

GUNNISON 21, SOUTH SUMMIT 6: The Bulldogs racked up 447 yards against last season's 2A runner up. Gavin Ashton scored on a 65-yard run.

JUAN DIEGO 28, GRAND 7: Grand had a tremendous rushing attack that tallied 310 yards but shot themselves in the foot with eight turnovers to drop the game to Juan Diego.


SOUTH SEVIER 14, KANAB 7:Andy McFadden had 15 tackles for Kanab, but South Sevier came out with the win.

MILLARD 42, NORTH SEVIER 0:Phillip Tuttle ran for three of the six Millard touchdowns.

SAN JUAN 37, BEAVER 34: Beaver fumbled on the San Juan two yard line late in the game.
