The Salt Lake Symphonic Choir has postponed a trip to Armenia after the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C.

The choir had planned to serve as "goodwill ambassadors" in Armenia as part of the country's 1,700th anniversary of its adoption of Christianity. More than 120 choir members and support staff were scheduled to make the trip.

All goods and funds that the choir had planned to deliver during the trip will be sent to Armenia without the choir. They hope to reschedule their trip for May or June, 2002.
